1999
In 1999, the first steps were taken towards what would later become EMS-ELECTRA, by implementing SMD component assembly and printed circuit board production within ELECTRA. Thus, dedicated departments are established for the production of electronic boards intended for ELECTRA intercoms.

2000 - 2007
From this point on, between 2000 and 2007, major investments were made in production technology development and quality improvement, through:
- The first certification of the quality management system in accordance with ISO 9001:2000
- Expanding the production area to 4000 m2
- Acquiring new equipment for electronic assembly, printed circuit board production, and plastic injection molding
During this period, we also began exporting electronic boards and printed circuit boards to Western European countries and implemented the lead-free assembly technology, also obtaining the UL certification for printed circuit board production in 2007.

2008 - 2011
The diversity of production facilities within ELECTRA led to the company's segmentation in 2008, resulting in the formation of ELECTRA Group, consisting of three distinct companies:
- ELECTRA – Manufacturer of video door phones and access control systems
- PCB-ELECTRA – Manufacturer of printed circuit boards
- EMS-ELECTRA – Supplier of industrial electronic production services

2012 - 2020
Immediately after the launch of EMS-ELECTRA as an independent company, major investments were made in advanced technologies: automatic printers, SMD component assembly, 3D optical inspection (AOI), selective soldering, in-circuit (ICT) and functional testing devices.
Similar investments were also made in the other two companies:
- ELECTRA invested in plastic injection machines, glass processing lines, and collaborative robots.
- PCB-ELECTRA invested in automatic PCB drilling and metallization machines, UV exposure, etc.

2020 - 2024
In January 2020, EMS-ELECTRA relocated its entire operation to a new headquarters, with a surface area of 11,000 m², located in the Miroslava Industrial Park near Iași, Romania.
